Seva

SEVA is defined in the yogic tradition as 'selfless service'. Every month, Bristol Yoga Studio opens its doors to the community for a free all levels class. The intent of the studio and of this particular offering is to bring yoga to as many folks as possible. We hope you'll join us!

We seek to maintain Bristol Yoga Studio as a positive force in the world. There are a number of organizations that are dear to our hearts and we continually support them through fundraisers, charitable gifts, and by simply spreading the word of their existence. We encourage you to find a cause you care about and support it as well. Here are some of ours:

This is the website for the Zachary M. Tompkins Memorial Fund. Zachary was Tracy's cousin's son. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in early March 2010. He was 11 years old. Zachary was a great athlete, a friend to all who knew him and an amazing soul. Zachary's parents have established a fund to realize his dream of 'owning' his own stadium. Zachary's hometown of Hudson, NH has committed to building the stadium provided appropriate donation funds can be raised. Bristol Yoga Studio is supporting the development of Zachary's stadium and hope you will too.

Starting now and continuing through our birthday FUNdraiser on June 4 and 5, we will be selling raffle tickets to win

this stained glass artwork.

Glass. Be sure to stop by and purchase your raffle ticket! Drawing will be done on June 5.

A cause dear to our hearts is adult literacy. This is the website for Literacy Volunteers of the East Bay, based in Warren, RI. They are always looking for volunteers, so please visit the website and contact them to see how you can help one adult at a time!

Think global, act local! Bristol Yoga Studio regularly holds fundraisers to help support the - Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen , based right here in Bristol.
